Nonprofit Partners

Most car donations are handled by a third party that flips the cars for quick cash, and then a fraction of the proceeds make it to a local nonprofit.

Wheels to Work is a third party that provides a car donation service in which the car is directly given to a client of the partner nonprofit, as opposed to being sold off. We have been partnered with Re:Source Cleveland since July of 2021.

Our work would not be possible without the work of Re:Source Cleveland. WTW focuses on transferring the cars in a tax deductible, tax free, and secure from liability standpoint way. Re:Source Cleveland vets the clients, provides case work surrounding the cars such as insurance, licensure, and registration, and has supporting services surrounding the client.

Any inquiries from a local nonprofit, business, or media can be directed to wheelstoworkcleveland@gmail.org.

If you want help starting a service that donates cars directly to people in your city, please feel free to reach out (I love talking about this).

Fleet Vehicle Partners

We are very grateful to the Ursuline Sisters for donating two cars through Wheels to Work in 2023 from their fleet of vehicles. Wheels to Work was able to connect the Ursuline Sisters with two very deserving young people in partnership with Corner 65 through Re:Source Cleveland. We are excited about working hard to continue this relationship.

Please feel free to reach out if you have any inquiries about donating cars through a fleet management. We can get the car to people who really need it and tell a great story!
